With over 20 years of litigation experience, Adria Mossing founded the Law Office of Adria East Mossing, LLC. Ms. Mossing’s practice includes the representation of injured parties and their families in cases involving Medical Malpractice, Wrongful Death, Personal Injury and Motor Vehicle Accidents. Ms. Mossing began her career at a large insurance defense firm where she represented doctors and hospitals as well as other professionals.
After 16 years of practice and as an equity partner, she made the decision to use this expertise to move to a plaintiff’s personal injury firm representing the interests of injured parties and their families. After five years, she opened her own practice. Ms. Mossing brings a wealth of litigation experience to her firm.
She has represented clients in multi-million dollar cases both at trial and by way of settlement in Cook County and the surrounding counties. She also actively participated in obtaining a record breaking settlement in McLean County in a medical malpractice action.
Ms. Mossing has been recognized as an Illinois Super Lawyer in the area of plaintiff’s medical malpractice and she is active in many professional organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois. Ms. Mossing has also been named to serve as the Legislative Liasion for the Commercial Litigation Committee of the Chicago Bar Association. She also is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association and the Illinois Bar Association.
Ms. Mossing received her B.A. in English from Northwestern University in 1983. She received her J.D. from DePaul College of Law in 1988. While at DePaul, she served on the DePaul Law Review and was the Managing Editor of Notes and Comments.
Ms. Mossing has authored publications including co-authoring the IICLE chapter on Illinois Civil Practice Pleadings. She has also served as an adjunct professor at DePaul College of Law where she taught a course on Medical Malpractice. Ms. Mossing is also Of Counsel to Patricia C. Bobb & Associates, P.C.
